What’s wrong with Analog’s subscription department? I renewewd my subscription in October 2007 and have had problems ever since.
I did not receive any issues until the May 2008 issue. I emailed a complaint and received the earlier issues from 2008. Twice. I then received the July/August issue followed by the June edition. This year so far I have received the January/February and the April issue. I hope I am going to receive the March issue soon as it has the final instalment of Robert J. Sawyers “Wake”.
Analog’s circulation is now less than 35,000 – around a quarter of what it was in the early 1980s. If this sort of experience with subscribing is common, it might go some way to towards explaining this decline.
