  1. Fricot Editors Says:

Extro was not a Northern Irish magazine and there were not only three issues. Extro was originally published in Manchester, England, by Constellation Publications, the founder and editor was Robert Allen. He was forced to sell the publication because of a row with the new printer, a Belfast printer, and Paul Campbell agreed to take it over. The first of his three issues was compiled by Allen. Campbell and Langford, as you have noted, brought it down. Extro had been in existence for five years when Campbell acquired it. The first series is in the British Library.

Thanks for that. Though I would add that the three issues I have are Volume 1 Nos 1 to 3. I have never located a number 4 and I doubt it would occur to many that there were issues prior to Vol1No1! And the publishers info within suggest it was published in Belfast.
